Giving Back
We believe it is important to give back to the communities where we work and live through donations and volunteering. TapHere currently supports the following organizations:
The purpose of the Band Support Organization is to provide support and financial aid for the Battlefield High School bands and provide for the purchase of equipment and other band-related materials.
TapHere sponsors the annual TapHere! Technology IT Scholarship, part of the PCF Scholarships Program, that recognizes outstanding academic performance and achievement in the Battlefield CASIIT.
Centreville High School Robotics Team
Centreville Robotics is a high school robotics team affiliated with the FIRST robotics program. They are a team of more than 100 students involved in the FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) and in the FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC).
The Knights was formed to render financial aid to members and their families. Mutual aid and assistance are offered to sick, disabled and needy members and their families. Social and intellectual fellowship is promoted among members and their families through educational, charitable, religious, social welfare, war relief and public relief works.
The mission of the National Football Foundation & College Hall of Fame is to promote and develop the power of amateur football in developing the qualities of leadership, sportsmanship, competitive zeal and the drive for academic excellence in America's young people.
The Auxiliary assists Page Memorial Hospital in its mission to provide high quality health care to our community by offering volunteer services to the hospital and patients. Page Memorial Hospital Auxiliary exists exclusively for charitable purposes by rendering service to the hospital, raising funds to promote the health and welfare of the community and funding scholarships to further health career education.
Park Valley Church exists to magnify God by communicating God's word, building God's family, educating God's people and demonstrating God's love to others at home and abroad.
The Piedmont Charitable Foundation (PCF) was established in 2010 with the goal of creating a positive, long-lasting impact on the charitable causes championed by its members for those who's lives they touch. TapHere sponsors the TapHere! Technology IT Scholarship, part of the PCF Scholarships Program, that recognizes outstanding academic performance and achievement in the Battlefield CASIIT.
The Special Operations Warrior Foundation’s mission is to provide financial assistance for education and other educational programs to the surviving children of Special Operations personnel who lost their lives in the line-of-duty and the children of Special Operators awarded the Medal of Honor. They also provide immediate financial grants to severely wounded, ill, and injured Special Operations personnel who require hospitalization.
Their mission is to achieve excellence as a student-focused Department of Systems and Information Engineering that educates men and women in the analytical tools and methodologies that will enable them to become leaders in technology and society and to contribute to the well-being of our citizens through the creation and transfer of knowledge.
VirginiaFIRST is the regional 501(c)(3) operation of FIRST, an international non-profit organization headquartered in Manchester, New Hampshire. The mission of FIRST is to design accessible, innovative programs that build self-confidence, knowledge, and life skills in young people, while motivating them to pursue opportunities in science, technology, and engineering. VirginiaFIRST works to bring the exciting and challenging activities, events, and opportunities of FIRST to Virginia youth.
